Check these before you call
- On a gas burner, make sure the cap sits flat and the ports are clean and dry.
- If a burner got wet during cleaning, leave it off and let it dry for a few hours.
- Check the breaker. Electric ranges use a double breaker that can half-trip.
- If you smell gas, turn nothing on or off. Leave the house and call your gas utility from outside.

Common questions
Why does my gas stove keep clicking?
Moisture is the most common reason, often from a spill or from cleaning. Let the burner dry. If the clicking continues on all burners, a spark switch or module may have failed.
Do you repair dual-fuel and induction ranges?
Yes, from the major brands we service, plus Thermador and Viking. Tell us the brand and model when you call so we can confirm.
Do you repair Viking or Thermador ranges?
Yes. We service Thermador and Viking ranges, along with GE, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire, KitchenAid and Maytag.

Montgomery County
Older ramblers in Wheaton and Four Corners often have a standard 30-inch freestanding range, which is usually simple to repair. In Glen Echo and Takoma Park, tight period kitchens can make it hard to pull a slide-in range forward, so protect the floor and never force a gas connector.

Howard County
Beyond the gas mains in western Howard County, including Cooksville and Glenwood, many ranges run on propane. A yellow or sooty flame after a move or new installation can mean the burners were not set up for that fuel, so stop using it and call. Newer kitchens around Fulton are more likely to have induction or dual-fuel ranges.
